Beware of Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing.
Everyone who says that they are your friend is not really your friend. Likewise, everyone who says they are telling you the truth may not be telling you the truth. If people treated Jesus as badly as they for no good reason at all, we can expect that on our journey through life, there will be some people we encounter who will treat us badly too and for no good reason at all. God forbid, but there are some who will mistreat you for money, power, position and all sorts that reasons that they feel justify their wrong doing. Sadly, some will even plan and plot to accomplish their dastardly deed.
We need not be afraid. Jesus left a message of hope and comfort for His people, in his word, regarding the tribulations and trials we are certain to face in this life. In John 16, He said...
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. Tn the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. KJV
The good news is, that we can be overcomers too because of the precious blood that Jesus shed and it flowed from Calvary's cross. With Christ, we too can overcome dastardly deeds, scheems, plots, and pitfalls that we encounter in life. Therefore FEAR NOT. Jesus has overcome the world. Those who are in Him can overcome the world too.
Read about the life of Joseph, son of the partiot Jacob. (Genesis 41 and 50) He was an overcommer who set an excellent example of what an overcommer in Christ should look like. His life is riddled with examples of God's sustaining grace and favor and he demonstrates his seemingly unshackable faith in God.
Gen 50:20 "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
May your day be beautiful and blessed.
